Pain of teenagers in India.

Its really pathetic to say that people are still having a orthodox mentality till now and it is unalterable,I used to ride Apache RTR 160 which belongs to my brother,I didnt had a license at that point of time, but still I somehow managed to get hold of the bike and used to ride oftenly, not always .One fateful day while I was crossing a cross-section of a 4-way road and moreover it was a Gali!as usual before crossing the cross-section I blew horn several times and I was wearing a Helmet which later on saved my life, when I blew horn and there was no sound coming from any other road meant there was no vehicle coming from the other 3 ways.I was riding at 25-30kmph of speed, while crossing the suddenly an HH Ambition struck the back(Saree Guard) of Apache,One person was on his bike standing on the side of the road, whom I went and hit as I lost my balance due to helmet I was saved had some minor injuries, but I was ok.
I stood up to hit the Ambition’wala’ with my helmet and suddenly as it happens in India a whole lot of people came out of nowhere on the deserted road.I went to see the person whom I had hit.He was also ok,So when I turned towards the  Ambition’wala’ the crowd turned towards me ,All of them were saying “Tomar Moton Chelerayee Erokom Jore Bike Chalaye R Accident Kore”(Guys Like you(young brats) ride their bike like Vale and crash into others vehicle)
Their mood was not good towardsc me and I was feeling the heat,People ran towards the person who had hit and were sympathising him! :X . I was helpless, took my bike and ran from there!

Consequence: Band-Aid: Rs 2
Cost of repairing: Rs 12k.
Scolding from My parents : Priceless
As usual My parents didnt listen to me!and barred me from Riding the bike again,    I complied to their instructions!
But they still blame me for that accident and say that it was your fault,Didnt had any evidence to prove them wrong!
Anyways I dont have any problem with that they dont let me ride the bike,I ride my friends bike whenever I see any of my friends with a Bike :D anyways
My parents still dont allow me touch the bike!
Even if I dont get any other mode of land transport,I plead,I request I do whatever possible to make them understand that let me ride the bike once,
Their Answer :: A Big NO!
I cannot make them understand, what happened with me!
and it has happned to couple of my friends!
Its is not that Teenagers dont know how to ride a Bike it is that Law of the Land and people Who dont understand the situation,They still live in 20th century whereas every other country has moved on.
Because of some teenagers all of us(Teenage riders(sensible)) are blamed for any accident without looking at any of the reasons due to which it occurred and who is responsible for that!
Now I have my license!
An Uncle (who doesnt know anything about rules) when suddenly comes middle of the road and gets hit any teenage rider (which once happened in front of my eyes)
The uncle with Pan in his mouth started saying “Dikhta Nahi hai kya?Tune Mujhe Aake Kyu Mara?Gaadi Chalana nahi aata, baap ne bike kharid diya toh man marzi chalayega?”

What will you say about this?
and moreover people will come and blame and beat up the teenager.
So what I wanna say that People should change their mentality, attitude as they get mordern!
10% GDP,80% literacy wont help until people dont change their mentality and attitude.
Laws made by Chacha Ji,Ambedkar Ji were right in those times but now time has changed so the Law should give a fair chance to the youth of this country.
License after you are a Adult or 18 yrs of age?
For what, after 18 I will be more sensible will abide by the land of law?
Who says If a person of 40 doesnt give a damn about law and rides without helmet, without PUC certificate, and rides his vehicle as he wishes to ride. They get license, why?

What teenagers to get a license ?

Shell out about 1k you will get a original license!

India has the longest written constitution in the world!
By do we abide by the rules ?
No

Solution?

1->Change the laws, but changing laws wont make any difference, people should also follow it,and Govt bodies whould also check that these rules are effectively applied!

2->Punish those who break the laws!

3->Getting a license should a be a priviledge not Right (I read it somewhere in BI)

Any feedback will be appreciated!
Thanks!

read the latest post of your blog..

you said for what reason do we need to attain the age of 18 for getting a license..
i ask for what reason are there the laws to attain proper age to get married? there must be some reasons.. ought to be..
do you think a ten year old boy, if by a changed law, gets a driving license, will be able to handle/maneuver a 150kg motobike?

then somewhere you mentioned, that ppl should follow the laws strictly (yes you wrote it down).. but why did you then drive your brother’s apache (when you had the small accident) when you didn’t have a driver’s licence??? any answers?

sorry if you didn’t like my feedback this way..
but you mentioned any feedback will be appreciated

    • As you have asked pointing out to the flaws of the post!
      My reaction:

First Of all I never mentioned about any baby getting any license. But you can bend the laws if the situation permits.Remember the movie “The Fastest Indian”?
Look at Abhinav Bindra he is a Olympic Gold Medalist and according to me he should have been excused by the NRAI.
Anyways moving on,it depends upon your caliber, talent if vale was expert at the age of 14-15 wouldnt he should get a license to show his skills?
      Would you complain against that?

As you said that I had an accident when I didnt had any license with me at that point of time.
And I really regret about that, that I didnt had my drivers license or else I would have bashed the person who had hit me.
People think that teenagers are always careless and reckless and cause problem, but its not applicable on everyone, but now I have my Learners license with me now and most probably would get my original drivers license on Friday.

India has the longest written constitution in the world but who follows it?
I am not saying that break the rules! but in general. You ask yourself how many times you have followed the rules?

I really apologies that I didn’t had my license at that point of time, but at least I can proudly say that I follow the Traffic rules, always wear a helmet.

I hope I answered all your queries.
